![]() ![]() There was not one poem that I didn’t like. ![]() I liked all the other poems as well though. Some honorable mentions that I really enjoyed as well were The Winter of Anne, Matthew, a Conch Shell, To Write a Letter When There is Too Much to Say, Marilla is a Mueseum, If You Don’t Know by Now, You Never Will, and The Fall of Anne. Some of my absolute favorite poems in this collection were What Do You Think of When You Think of Diana?, Anne’s Sadness, Gil, Ruby, Sucked In, and Love is all we ever had (and it was always enough). I really like what Bratten did with these poems and am interested to check out what else she has written. The poems in this collection were bold, sensual, clever and lyrical. The thoughts and feelings of the Anne in this collection were unexpected, but delightfully so. ![]() Being such a fan, I was instantly drawn to this collection and I will say that it did not disappoint. Montgomery fan and I have read almost all of her books and I have read the Anne series multiple times. I really liked this collection! I am a huge Anne of Green Gables and L.M. The collection is inspired by Anne of Green Gables and while there are references to beloved characters and events, the thoughts and feelings in this collection are from a different, more complex Anne. Anne with an E is a poetry collection that was written by April Michelle Bratten and published in 2015. ![]()
